KrisKompis is a portable, self sustaining, kinetically chargeable emergency device with built in radio and connection to Swedens public warning system. Able to assist and guide the user in a crisis - KrisKompis is designed to save lives and built to last.
PROBLEM
How do you recieve information in a national crisis?
PROCESS
Throughout the process we constantly involved the user with different purposes. Firstly through workshops, to understand how the user might act in a crisis and to deep dive in their emergency prepardness. We had co-design sessions, both in ideation and later for rapid prototyping. This gave us meaningful insights in how the user percieve and might interact with different functions. So that the final product would be foolproof in case of a national crisis.
